A Day In: Luxembourg

Luxembourg, you cheeky delight. We spent the day exploring the city with my friend Candace and brought along the kids scooters, which proved to be an excellent choice. Easily traveled in a day, this city is bursting with charm and history. Our only regret: visiting a few weeks before the Casemates opened for the season.

Parking at Parkolux Monterey was a breeze, mere steps from Monterey Parc (their pirate ship themed playground is not to be missed!) and free public restrooms.

After an unintentionally lengthy brunch at Mamacita we set off for the Pfaffenthal lift, and popped in the Chocolate House (across from Grand Ducal Palace) where the kids and I went absolutely insane, exiting with armloads of treats.

We capped off the day with a glass of wine alfresco while the kids scooted Place d’Armes square.
