Intentions: 2021

Our NYE was celebrated that morning with a play date in the snow(storm) and capped off with our favorite pizza, rucola salad, a bag full of noisemakers (so.much.noise), face-time calls and copious amounts of champagne. We were all deep asleep by midnight - a happy new year, indeed.

Looking back: 2020 Intentions.

If 2020 (and CBTI counseling for insomnia) taught me anything, it was the mindful act of being fully present. Looking forward into 2021, my goals are just that, intentional acts I hope to explore and deepen throughout the year.

Enjoy the view - I have an incredibly difficult time being still. Creating pockets of breath and mindfulness throughout each day with not only aid my stress levels, but keep me rooted in the present.

Eat + exercise intuitively and with compassion - protect my self care. Take a breath when needed, ask for help (delegating is great!), connect with friends. Lose the all or nothing mindset and fill pockets of free time with whatever my body may need in that moment. Take naps!

Journal/Blog - make the time to reflect each day and memorialize both the special and mundane moments.

Curate a wardrobe befitting of this season of life.

Deepen my understanding and care of my natural hair.

Continue to fine tune favorite settings and skills on my “big” camera.
