Photo Diary: Steel Cut Oats
Steel Cut Oats + Pint sized Mason Jars
Bring oats and water to boil, then simmer for three minutes.
Ladle oats and water into jars. Let sit out overnight.
Note: I didn't read the directions cooked mine too long so my end result was thicker.
My "oatmeal":
1 tsp Flax Seed
2 tbsp Fresh Blackberries
1 tsp (heaping tsp) Almond Butter
2 tbsp Vanilla Soy Milk
2 tbsp Raw Pecans
My nutritionist would be so proud.
