August 22nd

Today, I feel off the wagon into a ravine.  I had been doing so well the last week or so doing one meal and the rest in the form of liquid (smoothies, protein shakes, etc) - out.the.window. It may have something to do with the fact I weighed myself and had lost 5lbs.  I guess in a way I went a smidgen overboard with my big head. Oh, and I didn't workout - rest day, thankfully so because my arms burned like they were on fire from Yoga last night. A good burn of course.

Breakfast: 1 1/2 piece of Oat Toast with a little butter, and 3 pieces of turkey bacon. The bread is ridiculous. BUY some.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Lunch: House salad with grilled chicken with a ramekin of house dressing. 3 wheat rolls with butter.  Apparently I had a one way ticket to carb overload...

Snack: glass of Champagne - it was both my friends bday, AND she got a job!

Dinner: Friend's birthday. Dinner here. Appetizers (plural): baked apple with pulled pork, smothered fries. Here again I DOMINATED the fries thus sinking my further into my carb oblivion. Entree: Meatloaf with mac n cheese.  Why I was puzzled I could barely move was beyond me. 

I was in a food coma so deep from today's mass consumption of food I wasn't even hungry the next morning...sad I know. But I will say, EVERYTHING was delightful :)
