Chronicles of a Test Kitchen: Fall/Winter 2015

Roasted Tomato and Garlic Pasta: I could probably use less fresh grated parmesan, but I won't

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork: silly easy to prepare. Numerous options to enjoy -- my favorite is over asian noodles utilizing some pork broth.

Ramen dreams...

Tuscan Style Sausage Soup: still a favorite around these parts

That one time I thought bruleeing fluff on strawberries was a good idea... (not)

Caramel sauce: ok, not as delightful as my taste buds wanted.

The search continues...

Savory Chicken Squares: recently stubbled upon this recipe my friend made and gave to me years ago and whoa, I forgot how awesome it is.

S'mores Bars: no bonfire, no problem

Grilled Kale BLT Dip: Great for potlucks

Herb-Butter Roasted Chicken: I marinated the chicken as it thawed and have mercy it was worth the marination. Another winner from the Date Night In cookbook

Perfecting shepherds pie. The roasted garlic cheesy mash is -- YES

Vanilla Extract: bourbon, vodka and rum, respectively

Eggnog Cookies: super soft. I added extra eggnog, obviously.

Cranberry Rugelach: worth the work. From the crisp outer, doughy center and that filling... mmm

Norwegian Forest Cocktail: pleasing to the eye and taste buds

Chicken Enchilada Casserole: crazy tasty, makes so even better leftovers
