Flemish Beef Stew
When I first read Date Night In I was instantly captivated. Now, with a baby on the way, we are constantly discussing ways to spend time together and I have a feeling there will be plenty of date night in's in our future.
First up, the meat. I'm not a big fan of beef (save for burgers), but I promise you, this dish will satisfy the pickiest of beef palettes.
Once prepped (I browned the meat/onions in about twenty minutes before work), this dish is placed into the crockpot where flavors collide and dreams come true.
When you come home from work and your entire house smells like heaven, you pop a few potatoes in the oven, change into comfy clothes and settle into a hearty meal.
