Homemade Baby Food Pouches


Leaning all the way into homemade baby food,  I prepare pouches when I meal prep for the week, usually Sunday, with the TV on something deliciously awful, and preferably alone, in the kitchen. 

Pouches prove to be both space and cost efficient, travel well and above all, are wicked easy to prepare. The whole process is cathartic, that is, until I inevitably get impatient and spray freshly prepared purees all over our white cabinets. Every. Time.




wash and cut ingredients
place in saucepan or stockpot, cover 1/2 way with water
bring to boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes
cool. blend til smooth
