What We Ate, As Of Late

Regardless of my diligence in documentation, the Pipers eat well. And often. In copious amounts. I relish meal planning and everything that comes with it because food is my love language if there ever was one.

Here's what January to April looked like in our kitchen:

Veggieducken -- A (messy) labor of love for a friends birthday. The herb butter was -- EPIC.

Next, there were homemade doughnuts for my Valentine, Funfetti cupcakes for Mark's birthday, candied yams (subbed coconut oil in place of sugars) for Easter that were so sweet and tender even my husband the sweet potato loather ate them.

Then, there were Energy Balls who need to become a weekly staple because they are the perfect one handed snack, a Pancake recipe that has been around since my childhood, garlic brown sugar chicken that elevates even the simpliest of meals and strawberry cheeesecake muffins (photo) that taste like dessert.
