Monday Musings

How much AWESOME can one pack into seven days? Let me count the ways:

  • Participated in my first link up. It was a blast, everyone was super friendly, AND I made new friends. Holla!
  • Cocoa Pita Chips changed my life. And probably expanded my ass since I ignore servings sizes and took a bag to the face in less than two days.
  •  Target featured two of my tweets in their "tweet to runway" show. Which automatically makes me a big deal in my own mind.
  • 6am Yoga classes have their downfalls. Like running backwards into your doorknob, searing pain, and a giant bruise on my left butt cheek.  "Grace" is my middle name...
  • Made this Chili yesterday - add a lil avocado as garnish. Yum town.
  • Trivia night is super fun. Cuz you can bring booze.
  • Saw Django - great film, though some parts made me squirm, plug my eyes, and cover my ears like a five year old.
  • Overdue library book is how I roll - again. The last time I paid the  fine the librarian said "it's ok, I won't think any less of you."  I'm pretty sure that was a one off and I'm getting full on stink eye once I finish reading the book and return it.
  • Giveaway: Since short hair LOVES mail and presents, I couldn't pick ONE person, so I chose all three! Amie, Kyra, and Rebecca are the LUCKY winners of a care package full of my favorite things (hint: booze, food and awesomeness).  And, in keeping with the giveaway, below are MY answers to the questions:
    • Pancakes or Waffles? WAFFLES any day.
    • Fondest college memory? Let's be honest, we drank alot, so it's hazy. But damn we had fun.
    • Name MY favorite boy band. "I want it that way" - Backstreet Boys
  • Saw "The Piano Lesson" with a friend - living social, holla!

  • Last, but certainly not least, M and I adopted TWO puppies! Hound/Retriever, this 10 week old bro/sis duo had our hearts .5 seconds after we saw them.
We now officially have our hands full. The boy (mine, on the L.) is equal parts cuddle and love. The girl (his, on the R.) loves to snuggle and is not afraid to demand what she wants and take her brother out.

It goes without saying there will be loads of posts with tons of photos of these babies. I mean, look at those faces! Plus I'm certain potty training, and puppy hood are going to give us a run for our money, make us question our sanity and drink, alot.   Now they just need names - IDEAS?

What are you musing about this Monday?
