Taking Charge: Day 2 & 3

Day 2: Well, the unthinkable happened.  I got sick.  Shitballs.  There is nothing quite like waking up 2 hours late for work to get your pulse pumping.  It should have been obvious I wasn't feeling well when I woke up so late, but my adrenaline kicked in and was dulled with the blinding fear I would stroll into work WAY later than I should and endure the stink eye.  Had pomegranate kefir for breakfast before leaving work due to dizziness, sore throat and fever.  Managed to get down a chicken over greens salad with about a TBSP of dressing before assuming my spot on the couch.  Had no appetite for food, but since I needed something on my stomach so I wouldn't ralph up cold medicine, had some fresh blackberries.  Did V abs and Goop arms (1st time I tried them-LOVE), so not the goal I had in mind for the day, but considering I felt like death, it'd have to do.  Luckily Steve heeded my incessant requests for ice cream; my throat felt like I'd been chewing glass.  Clearly vanilla ice cream is NOT clean eating, but I was desperate to make the fire in my throat go away.  On a happy note, I was down 1.2 pounds.

Day 3 was worse.  In addition to sore throat, fever, and dizziness, my body decided to refuse keeping down food.  I'll spare you the details, but it ain't pretty folks. Followed the chicken protein soup recipe, but added noodles instead of broccoli, along with some crackers.  Obviously it didn't help.  Sadly, there was no workout today, other than sweating out my fever.  I hope day 4 goes better...
