Day #22 - Sunday Night TAM

It wasn't a dream, yesterday I TOTALLY made the scale my bitch and achieved my goal weight!  So happy I didn't dream that up...Take that evil scale!

Weight - no change since yesterday - 7.4 total lost

Workout - Used the video as a guide again because I CANNOT grasp these new exercises.  That, or my body REFUSES to bend that way (my arm and legs burn today!)...I'm gonna go with option B :)  While we are on the subject, the downward dog leg lift move is AWFUL!  That move should be an Olympic sport, anyone who can successfully maneuver that bad boy is my hero, I looked like I had fallen and couldn't get up, only I was trying to use my hands as feet and loop my leg on a chair to stand up...plus, it took over 2 hours to do 25 reps!  Did 40 minutes of cardio (20/20) to complete my workout. Sequence #3 is already testing my patience, by the time I do everything I've spent upwards of 3 1/2 hours!  Once boot camp is over I MUST find an alternative to "3 hour hell" (similar to the theme of Gilligan's Island).  I have to find a way to maintain my results, without spending a quarter of the day in an 80 degree room...

Food - Breakfast; quinoa porridge with fresh strawberries and blueberries.  The recipe calls for some "puree" skills, but we were STARVING so I just used the fruit fresh instead.  This was very good, filling, great fulfillment to my carb craving, but next time I'll use less OJ and more Apple Juice to simmer the quinoa, the OJ made it a bit tangy.  Lunch; Turkey burger with tomato and basil.  Tried this again, this time sprinkling 1/2 tsp of Feta on top which really helped the flavor factor, and the tomato/basil was a nice touch.  I won't make this dish again because it a bit bland for me, but the second time around it wasn't so bad...Snack; grapes (can't go wrong there).  Dinner; white fish with olives and steamed broccoli.  I have to admit, I LOVED the fish!  It was simple to make, and BONUS there were olives (i.e. SALT)!  I couldn't have asked for more.  I did have a "taste" of my sweet corn pudding for tomorrow (as I was preparing my meals for Monday), but I just wanted to be sure the spoon was "clean" before I put it in the dishwasher.

I've got my midterm this week, so 3 hour workouts, studying, and full time work should be a piece of cake...NOT!

22 days down, 8 to go!
